Some roadwork has been scheduled for Interstate-10 tomorrow, that drivers may want to plan ahead for. The California Department of Transportation will continue their work patching potholes and fixing damaged pavement along I-10. Similar work was done a week ago, and caused a traffic backup for several miles. Caltrans is using more than $200,000 in emergency funds to fix the storm damage, and advised drivers of the following lane closures for tomorrow:
• I-10 eastbound at Washington St., #3 lane and on & off ramps closed from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• I-10 eastbound at Jackson St., #3 lane and on ramp closed, 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• I-10 westbound at Jefferson St., #1 & 2 lanes closed, 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Caltrans has warned drivers to expect delays in these areas when the work is being done.
