Sheriff's deputies yesterday sought the public's help in finding a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Palm Desert on February 20th. The woman was walking in the 72600 block of Park View Drive, near Highway 111, early that Saturday morning when a man threatened her with a weapon and raped her. The attacker was described as a Latino man in his mid 40’s, about 5-feet-9 inches and 165 pounds, with short hair. Anyone with more information about the crime was asked to call police.
