Two people were arrested Monday in connection to a Palm Desert home break-in. While officers were investigating a burglary in the 42-000 block of Sand Dune, they were led to a home in the 43-000 block of Louisiana. There they discovered suspected stolen property. Officer were able to connect 27-year-old Josh Fitch and 20-year –old Vanessa Martinez to the stolen items. Both were booked into the Indio jail. Fitch was charged with burglary and resisting arrest. Martinez was charged with being and accessory to the burglary. The Sand Dune break-in is still under investigation.
