There were a few tense moments at Rubidoux High School Wednesday morning. The area was evacuated after a suspicious package was found in the auto shop at about 8:30. The area around the auto shop was evacuated, and students in other parts of the school were told to stay in their classrooms. A sheriff’s Hazardous Device Team arrived to inspect the package, which turned out to pose no danger. Because of the location of the device, deputies believe it had probably been there since the last school year ended.
