I want a bailout too

I was just talking with Gary and we want a bailout also. It seems that the government is going to bailout everyone including automobile companies and Hollywood. If it were not so tragic it would be funny. Companies go out of business all the time. President elect Obama wants to throw money to anyone who will ask. My party the republicans are on the bandwagon too. In 1994 the people elected the repuglicans to the house and Senate because of the contract with America. We were going to eliminate the waste and spending that the democrats had done for the past four decades. They did welfare reform and Bill Clinton signed it. Then the republcans got drunk with power and out spent the democrats. This is the reason we lost the last two major elections. The party of Lincoln have to write a new contract with America and this time live up to it. the people of America are looking for someone who has the gravitas to fix our damaged economy. Raising taxes lowers revenue. My frined Jim Battin has been saying this for 14 years. I beleive it alos. So for the next two years we will attempt to socialise America. When it fails and it always does the republicans will have a golden opportunity to try to implement a new contract with America. However this time they have to come though and enforce it. Like I said yesterday the next few years will be very bad. Many big corporations are going to bite the dust. Like I told my oldest frined Nelson Berkowitz just hold on and ride the storm. He is a medical doctor and the democrats will attempt to implement universal health care. That is doomed to fail. Democracy works capitalism works. The goverment does not work, that is why we are in this mess. Both parties are equallly guilty. If you want proof that government does not work go to the DMV, or take a look at social security that is your goverment hard at work. The housing market will get better down the line but it will be a few years. The automotive industry will get better in a few years. The idea that the government can fix this mess is ironic since the government got us into this mess. It is time to elect qualified people into office not the one that reads the teleprompter best. Schools should teach civics again and forget about social issues. Social issues are best tought by parents not teachers. This whole mess about prop 8 is the least of our problems. No matter what side you are on you should shake hands and agree to disagree. Our situation is real bad and prop 8 will be figured out at some time in the future. When i got a divorce from my ex we agreed to put the kids benefit above our own. She is a saint for putting up with me for 25 years. We did not try to destroy each other and we are now good frineds. the people that favor prop 8 and th no on 8 should follow our example. We are in a perfecct storm world wide We all have a choice. One is to try to cut each others throat The better choice is to be Americans first and democrats or republicans second. I made my choice last Friday when I got a call from a major cable news network to bash the people protesting at city hall. I passed on the chance because I want to be an American first and republican second. I will always try to get you mad at me beause I beleive in god and party and country. That is what the founders of America wanted. When you stop throwing things at your radio because of what I say then I am not doing my job. Gary and I still want our bailout money.
