Mark Christopher is your host for thought-provoking local conversation weekday afternoons from 3 to 6 pm on KNews Radio.
Christopher, who grew up in Hemet before spreading his wings as a professional musician for more than 20 years and performing in dozens of countries, has come home to Riverside County after spending the past eight years on the air in Nashville and St. Louis. The Mark Christopher Show will include a mix of news, issues, interviews and listener participation.
Mark became a talk radio aficionado while driving between music gigs late at night. “After a performance,” he says, “Music was the last thing I wanted to listen to. So, I did a lot of dial-weaving and fell in love with talk radio.”
Christopher has spent years performing with artists including Michael MacDonald, Chaka Kahn, Prince, and Dianna Ross. He performed for U.S. President’s George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, as well as the Queen of England, and he performed and dined with Nelson Mandela while celebrating his 80th birthday.
From extreme wealth to extreme poverty, Mark has seen the best and the worst that the world has to offer. And, those experiences have provided him with a unique perspective that will translate on the air to insightful and lively discussion.
